The Rio Marathon will be organized on June 17th and will start at Recreio, passing through Barra, Sao Conrado, the wonderful beaches of Ipanema, Leblon, and crossing the line in Flamengo. It is considered by many to feature the most beautiful route in the entire world.

The Rio Bom de Mesa (Good Food Festival) will give you the chance to enjoy Brazil’s varied regional cuisine. The restaurants that will participate will open up their kitchens to chefs coming from all over the globe. In addition, all over the town there are going to be lip-smacking events.

The June Festival is considered an integral part of the vast Brazilian culture. Here, you will see many children (along with lots of adults) wearing country-style lumberjack shirts, painted freckles, pigtails and straw hats.
